Sims Experiment: Alice & Kev

If you haven’t already seen this, it’s worth a look. Taking a cue from the Sims 2 poverty challenges, a game design student tests the edges of The Sims 3’s programming by simulating a homeless family.

things i want to do during my week off:

  • listen to shooter jennings’ new album, black ribbons.
  • play the sims 2 compulsively.
  • see alice in wonderland in imax 3d.
  • cohost the CJLO morning show.
  • DJ at CJLO’s punk night.
  • sleep in.
  • have a nice big sunday breakfast.

things i should do during my week off:

  • continue manually stripping the kitchen floor.
  • put a bunch of stuff on craigslist.
  • finally settle on a wireless usb stick/new modem.
  • either fix my broken dvd burner(s), or buy a new one.
  • work on 2 posters, one magazine layout, one ballot layout and one print ad.

things i will probably end up doing during my week off:

  • play the sims 3, wishing it was sims 2.
  • cohost the CJLO morning show.
  • DJ at CJLO’s punk night.
