I have video of this somewhere too… If ya like it, you can download it here.

This Wednesday, BVST teams up with southern psychedelic boogie rock’n’rollers White Cowbell Oklahoma to give you that warm’n’sticky feeling just in time for the holidays. Tune in to CJLO from 7 to 9 pm for the premiere of our exclusive session with the band, recorded live in our studios on Halloween weekend. It’s our holiday gift to you, in celebration of the band’s decade of decadence, and in anticipation of their upcoming 10th anniversary show at Lee’s Palace in Toronto on December 18th. The fun starts this Wednesday at 7pm on 1690 AM in Montreal or online at www.cjlo.com!

Tune in to BVST on CJLO 1690AM / CJLO.com tonight as I talk to Clem from White Cowbell Oklahoma about the new tour, the latest record, and what southern fried destruction you can expect from this Friday night’s show at L’Esco!
Long time listeners will know that WCO have been fixtures on the show ever since I first interviewed Clem way back in 2004, but now, in honor of the five year friendship between this dangerous gang of rock’n’roll miscreants and yr humble hostess, we’ve got a special surprise in store…
Wanna know what it is? Tune in tonight!
BVST, your best (& worst) of rock’n’roll, country, punk & metal, every Wednesday night from 7 to 9 PM ET on CJLO 1690AM.
I managed to convince the powers that be to allow me to play the new White Cowbell Oklahoma album, Bombardero, in its entirety on my radio show last night. Or rather, they didn’t offer enough resistance, so I just went for it. The vibe of the new record is darker, and seems to be matched with a deeper intensity of purpose for the band overall, but there are still plenty of hot’n’greasy numbers on this album. It’ll be interesting to see where this all goes over the next little while, but in the meantime you should head over to www.whitecowbell.com and find out where you can get yr hands on a copy and definitely go see them when they hit yr town.
I wish all the noise in my brain would sound like rock’n’roll. There’s so fucking much of it, nagging, biting, eating away… It’s not just the costant litany of things to do, it’s the guilty reminder of things so long overdue they cease to have meaning. It’s the endless irritating understanding that I haven’t been doing enough.
